Daniel Orband

Daniel Orband earned a B.S. in Optics from the University of Rochester in 1993. After graduation, he joined a startup that developed commercial optical devices and in-line inspection systems. In 1999, Orband joined the optical engineering staff at Optikos. Starting within the Optikos optical design and engineering services business, Dan served as a project manager for several large OpTest® and I-SITE™ test system projects. As Director of Engineering, he is responsible for many innovative optical systems, including a spectrally programmable visible light source and the development of several large-scale, I-SITE, VideoMTF®, Meridian® and scanning based infrared test systems. Dan has been awarded seven U.S. patents.
