Szabo Bogdan

Szabo Bogdan has a diverse work experience in software development. Szabo currently works as a Senior Full-stack Developer at optilyz since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Developer at GISCollective from September 2016 onwards, developing an open-source geo data platform.

From September 2020 to November 2021, they worked as a Senior Full-stack Developer at RIDE Capital. Szabo also worked as a Software Developer at Sociomantic Labs from April 2018 to December 2019, specializing in data integration using a micro-services infrastructure.

Before that, from April 2016 to March 2018, they worked as a Software Developer at Altom Consulting, where they focused on software and hardware development, as well as testing. Szabo also worked as a Software Developer at Watchup from June 2015 to March 2016.

Prior to their professional roles, they worked as a Freelancer, developing websites, online shops, and blogs for clients in the U.S. and Europe from July 2003 to January 2016. Additionally, they have experience as a Staff Software Engineer at National Instruments, where they worked on C components for NI LabWindows™/CVI from December 2014 to June 2015.

Szabo started their career as a volunteer at Asociatia Harta Verde Romania from December 2013 to December 2014, where they developed a web GIS application. Their earliest documented professional experience is as a Software Developer at GEP SA, Cluj-Napoca from July 2012 to December 2014.

Szabo Bogdan began their education in 2003 at Grup Scolar Sanitar Bistrita, where they obtained a High School degree in Computer Programming/Programmer, General in 2006. Szabo then went on to study at Universitatea de Arta si Design din Cluj-Napoca from 2006 to 2009, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Photography - Video - Computer Image Processing. Subsequently, they attended the University of Bucharest from 2009 to 2012, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Programming. In addition to their formal education, in October 2012, they obtained a certification in Internet History, Technology, and Security from Coursera.
