Mareike Both

Mareike Both has a diverse work background with experience in various roles related to human resources, fitness, and project management. Their most recent role was as the Head of Human Resources at OptiMedis AG, where they started in July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an HR-Manager at the same company from August 2022 to July 2023. Mareike also worked as a Certified Personal Trainer at Original Bootcamp starting in March 2022.

Before their time at OptiMedis AG and Original Bootcamp, Mareike held positions at EDEKA ZENTRALE Stiftung & Co. KG, where they served as a Specialist in Personnel Services from November 2018 to July 2022 and as a Consultant in Occupational Health Management from November 2018 to October 2019.

Mareike also gained experience as a Sports Scientist at Firmenfitness Franke from October 2017 to October 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Master's candidate in Occupational Health Management at IWAN BUDNIKOWSKY GmbH & Co. KG from October 2016 to March 2017.

Mareike's earlier experience includes an internship in Occupational Health Management at EDEKA ZENTRALE Stiftung & Co. KG from February 2015 to August 2015 and a role as a Project Collaborator at rosenbaum nagy unternehmensberatung GmbH from April 2013 to February 2014.

Their first professional role was as a Sports Therapist in the Nephrology Center at Verein für Gesundheitssport und Sporttherapie Leverkusen e.V. from October 2010 to March 2013. Overall, they have gained a wide range of expertise in human resources, fitness, and project management throughout their career.

Mareike Both completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport und Gesundheit in Prävention und Therapie from Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln from 2009 to 2013. Mareike then pursued their Master of Arts degree in Betriebswirtschaftslehre from Fachhochschule Kiel, which they completed from 2014 to 2017. Mareike further extended their educational qualifications by obtaining a Master of Business Administration in International Business Management and Languages from Universidad de Almería, which they accomplished in 2016.
