Melissa Palfrey

Melissa Palfrey has a diverse work experience. Melissa is currently serving as the President of the Platteville Club at Optimist International. Prior to this, they held the role of Vice President in the same club. Melissa also worked at Family Advocates, Inc, where they were the Assistant Director and later became the Director of Community Relations. In this role, they were involved in event management, website creation, content production, and social media marketing. Before that, Melissa was the Director of Marketing and Development at Dubuque Regional Humane Society, where they focused on fundraising and organizing events. Melissa also worked at the Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce as the VP of Marketing & Communications and the Director of Community Development. Their responsibilities included providing internship consulting, analyzing workforce strategies, and serving on various committees. Additionally, Melissa worked at QueenB Radio as an Account Executive - New Media Manager, where they developed advertising campaigns and advised staff on mobile marketing and website sales. Melissa also worked at QueenB Media as an Account Executive, with similar responsibilities. Melissa's work experience also includes a role as the Audience Development Manager at The Janesville Gazette, where they executed sales programs and implemented marketing strategies.

Melissa Palfrey completed their high school education at Benton High School from 1991 to 1995. Melissa then pursued their higher education and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Technologies from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville between 2007 and 2010.
