Robert Panossian

Robert Panossian has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Robert is currently working as a Senior Spatial Designer at Optimist Inc. since May 2022. Prior to this, Robert worked as a Freelance designer from February 2019 to May 2022, and as a Spatial Designer at VTProDesign from August 2019 to April 2020.

Before entering the industry, Robert gained valuable experience at MIT Design Lab, where they served as a Design Research Lead from March 2018 to January 2019, and briefly as a Design Researcher in March 2018. Robert also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Massachusetts Institute of Technology from September 2015 to June 2016, where they assisted instructors in developing design courses and provided guidance to students.

Earlier in their career, Robert worked as a Designer at PATTERNS from September 2012 to April 2014, and as a Junior Designer at Jones, Partners: Architecture from June 2012 to August 2012. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in spatial design, design research, and teaching.

Robert Panossian obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Architectural Studies from UCLA from 2007 to 2012. Robert then pursued their Master of Architecture degree (MArch) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, specializing in Architecture, from 2014 to 2018.
