Charles (Tim) Montgomery has extensive experience in the field of design and development. Charles (Tim) began their career in 1999 as a Graphic Designer and Children's Book Illustrator for Print Expressions Inc. in Tucson, AZ. In 2000, they moved on to become a Work IKEA Office Planner, providing customer service related to over $2,000,000 in furniture sales, as well as creating biweekly departmental newsletters using Adobe InDesign. In 2005, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Surry Community College, teaching two semesters of Illustration and Computer Design Basics to over 40 students. From 2006 to 2009, they worked as a Digital Media Artist for Applied Research Associates, where they modeled 3D objects such as buildings, military vehicles, weapons, equipment, and characters for military simulation software. Finally, from 2009 to 2015, they worked as an Art Director/Graphic/Web/UI Designer for Tiber Creek Consulting, creating User Interface mockups for the National Guard G-1 Portals using Visual Studio and Adobe Flash Catalyst, as well as theming and skinning National Guard G-1 web portal and Strength Maintenance Management System (SMMS) web portal using HTML, CSS, and MXML. In 2015, they moved to OPTiMO Information Technology as a Web UI Designer - Front End Developer.

Charles (Tim) Montgomery began their educational journey at Apollo High School. Charles (Tim) then attended Surry Community College from 1995-1997, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Pre-Liberal Arts. From 1997-1999, they attended The Art Institutes and earned an Associate's Degree in Computer Animation. Charles (Tim) then returned to The Art Institutes from 2000-2002, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts and Animation. In 1994, they attended Brescia University for Anatomy and Art Appreciation. In 2018, they obtained a Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org.
