Miguel A. Blanco

Miguel A. Blanco has extensive work experience in the telecommunications and media industry. Miguel A. currently serves as the Sales & BizDev Sr. Director at Optiva Media. Before that, they worked as the International BizDev Director at TVUp Media Telecom. From 2019 to 2021, they were the Head of Operations for EMEA Global Accounts at MediaKind Global. Prior to that, they held the position of Media Delivery Project Management Director for EMEA & APAC at Ericsson from 2013 to 2019. Miguel also has experience at Microsoft, where they served as the TV Services & Platforms Director and Telefonica Spain Account Director. Miguel A. began their career at Telefonica in 1994 and held various positions within the company until 2007, managing geographically distributed teams and holding executive positions.

Miguel A. Blanco completed their Executive MBA from IE Business School in the year 2000. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid between 1984 and 1990.
