Lasse Lepistö

Lasse Lepistö has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Lasse most recently served as the CEO of OptoFidelity since September 2020. Prior to that, they held various roles at OptoFidelity, including Vice President of Client Specific Solutions from August 2019 to September 2020.

In their Vice President role at OptoFidelity, Lasse was responsible for running the Client Specific Solutions business unit, overseeing sales, business development, and daily operations. During their tenure, the Client Specific Solutions unit achieved a turnover of 6M€ and employed 40 experts.

Before joining OptoFidelity, Lasse worked at Tieto from April 2004 to August 2007 as a System Analyst. In this role, they specialized in integrating the TIPS paper industry MES system with corporate-level systems such as SAP and OTM.

Prior to Tieto, Lasse had a stint at Honeywell Process Solutions as a Lead Engineer. Lasse continued the development work on camera-based paper formation measurement and was involved in factory ramp-ups for the solution.

Lasse also has experience in academic research, having completed their M.Sc. thesis on Camera Based Formation Measurement, earning a grade 4/5 for their work. Overall, Lasse Lepistö's work experience showcases their expertise in sales, business development, system design and integration, and engineering solutions.

Lasse Lepistö earned their Master's Degree in Automation Technology from Tampere University of Technology from 1998 to 2003. In addition to their degree, they obtained a certification as a Certified Labview Developer from National Instruments in August 2008.
