James Looney

James Looney has extensive work experience in the field of technical training and maintenance. James started their career in 1993 in the US Navy, where they served in various roles including Technical Training Specialist, Leading Petty Officer/Information System Maintenance Technician, Leading Petty Officer/Maintenance Material Management Coordinator, and Work Center Supervisor. In these roles, they were responsible for training and managing personnel, performing maintenance on radar and communication systems, and maintaining information systems. James also served as an IFF Technician and Sailor during their time in the Navy. In 2013, they joined Optos as a Senior Field Service Engineer, where they provided support in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Optos products and services. James also installed and maintained computer networks and provided diagnosis and repair support.

James Looney completed high school in 1993 at Summerville High School and obtained a high school diploma. From 1993 to 1995, they attended Electronic Technician "A" School in the US Navy, but did not earn a degree or specialize in any particular field of study during that time.
