Kate Zhao, CFA, CAIA, FRM, has extensive experience in portfolio construction and investment risk analysis, currently serving as a Senior Analyst at OPTrust since August 2014. Previous roles at OPTrust include Analyst in Portfolio Construction, Investment Data Specialist, and Investment Risk Analyst. Prior to joining OPTrust, Kate worked as a Financial Engineer and Product Manager at Raiyun Financial Technologies, LLC from March 2013 to June 2014. Kate began their career as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo, where Kate also completed a Master of Computational Math and a Bachelor of Mathematics with Honours.
