Talha Azhar, CPA, FCCA, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment finance and accounting. Currently serving as Team Lead, Investment Finance at OPTrust since January 2021, Talha supervises a team that partners with Private Equity and Infrastructure Investment Teams. Prior roles include Manager, Finance at RBC, where involvement in the Personal & Commercial Banking segment contributed to understanding the largest revenue-generating division of the organization. As Associate Vice President, Finance at INVESTCORP, Talha managed the preparation of consolidated financial statements and coordinated audits for the Group and its subsidiaries. Previous experience includes positions at Gulf Capital as Assistant Manager, Finance, and at PwC as Senior Associate, where Talha conducted financial statement audits. Educational qualifications include a CPA designation from CPA Canada, a Bachelor’s Degree (BSc Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, and membership in the ACCA.
