Pronil Sengupta

Pronil Sengupta has over two decades of experience in software engineering and quality assurance, currently serving as a Director of Software Engineering at Optum since March 2011. At Optum, Pronil has end-to-end delivery accountability for IT solutions, focusing on clinical documentation, CRM, sales and marketing, and business reporting. Pronil manages a large, distributed team of over 60 engineers, emphasizing career development and talent retention. Pronil's prior experience includes roles at Adobe Systems as a Lead Quality Engineer, Quark as a Sr. Software Quality Engineer, Tecnovate eSolutions as an Executive Quality Engineer, and Sapient Corporation as a Software Engineer in Quality Assurance. Pronil holds an MBA in Information Systems from the Center for Management Development and a B.Sc (Physics) Hons from Delhi University.
