Teri Steele

Teri Steele has a comprehensive work experience in event management and project management. Teri currently works at Opus Agency as the Director of Project Management since February 2023 and previously held the role of Senior Project Manager from February 2022 to February 2023. Before joining Opus Agency, Teri worked at Maritz Global Events as a Meeting Event Manager from July 2021 to February 2022. Teri also has extensive experience with Hyatt Regency, where they served as Director of Events at various locations from 2000 to 2014. Additionally, Teri worked at Walt Disney World as a Technologist, specifically for the opening team of Innoventions at Epcot, from 1993 to 1995. Overall, Teri's work experience is focused on event planning, project management, and leading teams in the hospitality and events industry.

Teri Steele, LES, attended West Bend West High school from 1986 to 1989. Teri then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Leisure Studies, with a focus on Therapeutic Recreation, at the University of Iowa from 1989 to 1993. In addition to their education, Teri obtained various certifications including a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) from the Events Industry Council in December 2000, a Learning Environment Specialist from PCMA in 1999, and most recently, a Digital Event Specialist from PCMA in December 2020.
