Rob Seward

Rob Seward is a Senior Software Engineer at Opus IVS - US, starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Software Architect at Bluestone Consulting Group, LLC, starting in June 1998. At Bluestone, they provided technical solutions for clients and worked on projects such as spinnphr.com, xacte.com, and curunirconsulting. In 2014, they joined Bodhala as a Senior Software Engineer, where they integrated Machine Learning into their technology solution and developed a data pipeline for the law industry. Before that, they worked as a Technical Manager at Systems In Motion, overseeing Java code and managing the application support team. Rob also worked as a Primary Pythonist at Curunir Consulting from July 2011 to May 2013 and as a Graph Guy at asq.us in 2012. From 2008 to 2011, they provided Oracle consulting services to the State of Michigan as an Oracle Consultant at Amberian Corporation. Rob also worked as a Consultant at RCM Technologies from March 2002 to June 2005, where they designed and developed various Java systems for the Mortgage Divisions business concerns. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant at Interfirst from 1997 to 2005, and as the Chief Technologist at Clickguide, Inc. from August 2000 to February 2002, where they designed and administered a highly available three-tier production Web cluster capable of serving millions of transactions per day.

Rob Seward earned their B.S. degree in Computer Science with a minor in German from Michigan State University, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Rob then pursued their M.S. degree in Computer Science at the same university from 1993 to 1997.
