Carl Ransdell

Carl Ransdell has a strong work experience in the technology industry. Carl is currently working as a Senior Principal Engineer at Oqton, Inc since 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Autodesk from 2014 to 2017 as a Sr. Principal Software Engineer in the Digital Manufacturing Group, specializing in software development for additive manufacturing. Before joining Autodesk, Carl worked at Ransdell & Brown, Inc. for almost two decades as a Software Engineer, Principal, focusing on CAD data creation, integration, and visualization for non-traditional CAD applications. Carl also founded Numera Software Inc. in 1994, where they developed Visual CADD and sold it to Corel Corporation in 1996. Furthermore, Carl has previous experience at Autodesk as a Software Engineer when the company acquired Generic Software Inc., their previous employer, in 1989.

From 1984 to 1988, Carl Ransdell attended the University of Oregon, where they pursued a degree in Computer and Information Science with a focus on Mathematics.
