Phillip Jörke has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Manufacturing Software Engineer at Oqton since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Embedded Software Developer at Jabra from October 2020 until February 2022.
Before joining Jabra, Phillip was a Firmware Test Developer at Oticon from January 2018 to October 2019. In this role, they assisted in implementing and automating firmware tests, as well as maintaining regression test setups for various hearing aid iterations.
Phillip also worked at Secuyou, where they held two roles. Firstly, as a Firmware Developer from July 2017 to November 2017, they were responsible for writing software to enable connectivity between Bluetooth-controlled locks and smartphones, as well as advancing software for a central control unit managing multiple locks simultaneously. Phillip also had a role as a Student Developer at Secuyou from October 2016 to June 2017.
Earlier in their career, Phillip worked as a Student Assistant at Widex for a brief period from March 2017 to May 2017. Phillip also gained experience as a Student Developer for Machine Learning Toolbox at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from June 2015 to August 2015. In that role, they focused on selecting and testing unsupervised machine learning strategies for clustering EEG microstates from pre-processed EEG data using Matlab.
Phillip Jörke pursued their education in engineering, focusing on control theory and robotics. Phillip obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Southern Denmark, which they attended from 2011 to 2014. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science in Control Theory and Robotics from the Technical University of Denmark, where they studied from 2014 to 2017.
