Darlene Haywood Weaver currently serves as the Transportation Planning Manager for the Orange County Government, overseeing transportation planning and coordination with various agencies. Previous experience includes a managerial role at Amazon, where Darlene supervised over 100 employees and implemented training for improved profitability. Darlene also has a robust military background, having held various leadership positions in the U.S. Army, including Deputy Director of Organizational Operations, where strategic operations and management of an $800 million budget were key responsibilities. In academia, Darlene served as an Adjunct Professor at the Virginia Military Institute, mentoring students and revising curriculum. Darlene holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Saint Augustine’s University and an MBA in Business Administration/Logistics from Trident University International.
