Doug McKay has had a diverse range of roles and experiences throughout their career. Doug started their career at Macy's in 2009, where they served as the Community Grant and CSR Giving Chair / Operations Manager, overseeing philanthropic giving and community outreach. Doug also held the role of Director - HR Employment and Technology for a brief period.

In 2017, Doug joined Orange County United Way as the Director of Strategic Initiatives, where they provided guidance for collaborative efforts of companies, individuals, and organizations towards impactful community involvement. Doug then transitioned to the role of Director of Engagement Strategy in 2019, leading dynamic and interactive community and associate engagement programming in coordination with multiple companies, partner agencies, and individuals. Doug'sfocus was on maximizing Give Back efforts and creating meaningful volunteer and engagement experiences.

Doug McKay obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from California State University-San Bernardino. Doug also completed a Certificate Program in Project Management from UCLA, as well as a certification in Project Management from the same institution.
