Michael Shepherd

Michael Shepherd is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community strategies and housing advocacy. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Community Strategies at Orange County United Way, Michael oversees initiatives focused on homelessness awareness, community collaboration, and housing solutions advocacy. Previous roles include Housing Advocacy Program Manager at United to End Homelessness, Director of Certificate Programs at Hope International University, and Director of Operations at Grandma's House of Hope, where Michael improved internal systems and compliance practices. Additionally, Michael has held positions at Pathways of Hope, where collaborations to combat homelessness were emphasized, and Tumaini International, where support for families affected by HIV/AIDS was coordinated. Michael holds a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies and a Master of Science in Management, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies.
