Mark Tyson

Mark Tyson has extensive work experience in the engineering and manufacturing field. Mark started their career as an Engineer at Bausch & Lomb in 1996 and later became an Engineering Manager. Mark then served as the Engineering Manager at Bausch & Lomb from 2001 to 2005. In 2005, they joined OraSure Technologies as the Director of Engineering and Facilities. From 2010 to 2016, they worked at Visioneering Technologies Inc. as the Director of Engineering & Manufacturing and later as the Vice President of Manufacturing. Since 2016, Mark has been working at OraSure Technologies as the Senior Director of Engineering & Facilities. Additionally, they have experience as a Medical Device Consultant from 2008 to 2010 and as the Manager of Regulatory Affairs & Quality at Permeable Technologies, Inc. from 1993 to 1996.

Mark Tyson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Cornell University from 1989 to 1993. Later on, from 1998 to 2002, they pursued an MBA degree in Operations Management - Manufacturing, Computers, and Information Systems at the University of Rochester - Simon Business School.
