Bala Bandla

Bala Bandla began their work experience in 1987 as a Planning Manager at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, where they worked until 1998. Bala then joined Toppan Photomasks, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, managing the design and solution life cycle of a custom Order Status solution. In 2004, Bala joined Catalytic Software as a Project Lead, leading a team of software engineers in prototyping solutions for RFID technology. Since 2007, Bala has been working at ORBCOMM, initially as an Engineering Manager in IoT and later as the Director of Big Data Analytics. In their current role, Bala is responsible for leading ORBCOMM's strategies in big data and analytics, including migrating device streaming data to a scalable IoT big data stack on the cloud and developing cloud-based SaaS analytics products.

Bala Bandla completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Warangal from 1983 to 1987.
