Software Defined Radio Engineer at Orbex Space

Juan Pablo Iñigo has been working in the aerospace industry since 2012. In that year, they began a role as a Technical Assistant at GrIDComD, where they were responsible for the manufacture process of electronics subsystems for space applications. In 2015, they joined VENG S.A. as a Flight Termination System Engineer, where they were responsible for the development of the flight termination receiver for Tronador III launcher and the design and implementation of digital PCM/FM receiver, Reed Solomon and BCH FEC encoding and decoding, 3-DES encryption and decryption. In 2021, they began working at Orbex as a Software Defined Radio Engineer, where they are responsible for the design and development of digital RF transceivers for Orbex Prime launch vehicle and the implementation of digital transmitters and receivers using SDR techniques. Additionally, they are also working at PLD Space as an FTS/Avionics Engineer, where they are responsible for FTS review, FTS Test Plan, and FTS Test Bench Development.

Juan Pablo Iñigo has obtained a range of educational qualifications. Juan Pablo completed an Electronic Engineer degree from Universidad Nacional de La Plata in 2014, with a specialization in Telecommunications. Subsequently, they completed a Course in Digital Signal Processing from the same university in 2016-2017. Juan Pablo then completed a Course in Wireless Communication from the same university in 2018-2019, followed by a Space Application Languages and Operating Systems certification from Unidad de formación Superior (CONAE) in 2019. Finally, they are currently enrolled in a Posgrado Course in Radar Signal Processing at Universidad Nacional de La Plata.
