Nick Doughty

Nick Doughty has worked in a variety of roles in the aerospace industry. In 2021, they began working at Orbex as a Senior Launch Vehicle Systems Engineer and a Launch Vehicle Systems Engineer. In 2019, they joined AB Dynamics as a Senior Project Engineer, responsible for product development for the AB Dynamics advanced Vehicle Driving Simulator. In 2018, they were the Aerospace Project Manager for the Bath University Rocket Team, a student group that designed, built, tested and launched a high-powered sounding rocket. Nick also interned at Honeywell in 2018 as a Project Engineering Intern and in 2016 as a Systems Modelling and Analysis Intern. In 2016, they were the Joint Team Lead for Team LunaDome, a team that entered an international competition called 'Lab2Moon'.

Nick Doughty graduated with a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the University of Bath in 2019, having started their studies there in 2014.
