Iain Reid

Iain Reid has been working in software engineering since 2014. Iain began their career as a Mobile Application Developer at Lexel, where they first experienced Node.js and built APIs and tooling. In 2015, they moved to Adstream, a global creative logistics company, where they worked as a JavaScript developer on projects built using Angular, Dojo, and Express. Iain was part of a small team of JavaScript and C++ developers that built and maintained the company's high speed file transfer tool, SendPlus. Iain then joined CENTURY Tech in 2016, where they worked as a Software Engineering Consultant and Software Engineer. In 2020, they moved to Orbiit (formerly Hoppin) as a Software Engineering Consultant and to Yumpingo as a Software Engineering Consultant. Iain is currently employed at Emphori, where they work as a Consultancy & Open Source.

Iain Reid attended Worth Abbey from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained GCE A Levels in Music, Music Technology, and Drama. Iain then attended Bartholomews College from 2012 to 2013, where they obtained a GCE A Level in Mathematics.
