Brenda Shostrom has extensive experience in the healthcare and education industries. Brenda currently holds the position of Vice President of Academic Development at Orbis Education since April 2019. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Nursing Regulatory Compliance at Orbis Education since June 2017.

Before joining Orbis Education, Brenda worked at Aurora University as the Executive Director/Dean of Nursing and Allied Health from July 2015 to June 2017. Brenda also served as the Associate Professor and Chair of Nursing (Chief Nursing Administrator) at St. Ambrose University from June 2012 to June 2015.

Brenda had a lengthy tenure at Coe College, where they held the role of Associate Professor and Chair of Nursing (Chief Nursing Administrator) from August 2000 to May 2012. Prior to Coe College, they were the Nurse Manager Behavioral Health at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, IA from August 1996 to August 2000.

Brenda began their career as a Nursing Instructor at Grace School of Nursing from August 1993 to August 1996. Before that, they worked as a Transitions Facilitator at Health Sciences Centre from 1992 to February 1993. Brenda also served as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Manitoba from 1990 to 1993.

Brenda'scareer started at HealthEast, where they developed and managed the Coordinator of Crisis Intervention Services program from 1988 to 1991.

Brenda Shostrom's education history begins in 1981 when they enrolled at Washburn University. Brenda completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1985 and went on to pursue further education. From 1988 to 1995, they attended the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and obtained a Master of Science degree in Nursing. Brenda'sstudies focused on the field of Nursing during this time. Lastly, from 2003 to 2008, Brenda attended Loyola University Chicago to earn their highest educational achievement, a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Nursing. Brenda'seducation and training have equipped their with a strong academic foundation in the field of nursing.
