Wes Cummins

Wes Cummins has a diverse work experience in the fields of instructional design, media production, and technology consultancy. Wes currently works as an Instructional Designer at Orbis Education since 2020. Previously, they were a self-employed freelancer in media production starting from 2014.

In terms of educational institutions, Wes worked as an Instructional Technology Consultant at the University of Michigan from 2019 to 2020, where they collaborated with faculty members on course design for both on-campus and online classes. Wes also served as a Multimedia Production Specialist at St. Louis College of Pharmacy from 2015 to 2019. In this role, they supported faculty and staff in creating educational coursework and managed the school's lecture capture system, overseeing video production from conception to completion.

Additionally, Wes worked as a Senior Production Manager at 12 Stars Media Productions from 2012 to 2014, collaborating with clients to create video content for various purposes. Wes also gained experience as a Producer at Webstream Productions from 2011 to 2012, where they produced and directed live events for platforms like ESPN3 and the NCAA.

Wes Cummins obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Video Studies from Purdue University between the years 2005 and 2010. Later, between the years 2016 and 2019, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Education with a focus on Instructional Design and Performance Improvement from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
