Patrick Woods

Patrick Woods is the co-founder and CEO of Orbit, a company that helps developer-focused companies generate awareness by contributing to the developer community. Patrick has also founded or co-founded several other companies, including Initial Commit and DeveloperMode.

At Figure Eight, Patrick was the Director of Customer Success, where they coached and led a team of 8 managers and individual contributors to deliver value across three customer segments. Patrick also created data-driven strategic plans, developed and scaled processes for risk and churn mitigation, drove efforts with Sales and Marketing to expand accounts and increase ARR, collaborated with Marketing on customer communications and customer engagement, supported and scaled Product efforts to distill customer insight, built playbooks and systems to increase CSM productivity, and handled complex escalations and negotiations.

Prior to that, they were the founder & head of strategy at Initial Commit, a brand strategy & storytelling company for B2B startups in search of their voice.

Patrick is an expert in customer success and has a deep understanding of how to create value for customers. Patrick is also a gifted communicator and strategist, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.

Patrick Woods went to Baylor University for their M. Div. in Religion/Religious Studies and got their B.A. in Advertising / Journalism from The University of Memphis.
