Andrew Han

Andrew Han is a seasoned professional in the field of manufacturing sciences and technology, currently serving as Manufacturing Excellence Lead at Orca Bio since December 2023. Previously, Andrew held various positions at Bayer HealthCare from January 2014 to December 2023, culminating in the role of Director of Manufacturing Sciences and Technology for Drug Products. Responsibilities included managing process engineering teams, mentoring junior engineers, and leading significant projects that improved manufacturing processes and product quality. Earlier experience includes a position as Project Leader at Immunetics, Inc., where Andrew successfully authored SBIR grants and developed innovative methods for detecting bacterial contamination in blood products. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Princeton University and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UCLA.
