Amber Rand

Amber Rand has over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health and social services. Amber began their career as the Director of Assessment Services at Area Substance Abuse Council in 1999 before moving on to become an Outpatient Therapist at Unity Point in 2001. Amber then served as the Program Director at Children & Families of Iowa from 2003 to 2013. Most recently, they held the role of Vice President at Orchard Place starting in 2013.

Amber Rand holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa, which they obtained from 1993 to 1997. Amber later pursued a Master of Arts in Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling at the University of Iowa from 1997 to 1999. Amber also holds an International Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor certification from the Iowa Board of Substance Abuse.
