Elena Costariol

Elena Costariol is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in bioprocessing and drug development. Currently serving as the Senior Drug Product Workstream Lead at Orchard Therapeutics since October 2020, Elena previously held the position of Drug Product Workstream Lead. Prior to this, experience at UCL included an Engineering Doctorate focused on the bioprocessing and manufacturing of CAR-T cells, as well as roles in innovative projects developing devices for immunotherapy and serving as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant. Educational credentials encompass a Biochemical Engineering and Bioprocess Leadership EngD from UCL, a Master’s thesis in Tissue Engineering and Microfluidics from The University of Queensland, a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, and a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the same institution. Additional education includes an elective module in Financial Statement Analysis from London Business School.
