Mahesh Varsani

Mahesh Varsani has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry with a strong focus on analytical sciences and quality control. Mahesh has held various leadership roles, including Associate Director positions at Orchard Therapeutics, Biogen, and Nightstar Therapeutics, overseeing the development and validation of analytical methods for gene therapy products. Prior to that, they held roles at GlaxoSmithKline, where they progressed from a Scientific Investigator to a Group Head in Biological Assay Development and Characterization. Mahesh's expertise includes managing cross-functional teams, strategic planning, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Mahesh Varsani completed a B.Sc. (Hons.) Degree in Medicinal Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, University College London. Mahesh then went on to earn a PhD in Biological Chemistry from UCL, graduating in 1997.
