Norman Friis

Norman Friis has a strong background in software engineering, with experience in senior and staff roles at various companies. Norman is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Orchard since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Northrop Grumman for 6 years, where they held positions as a Staff Software Engineer and later as a Senior Principal Software Engineer. At Northrop Grumman, Norman was involved in developing a customizable web application framework, designing a replacement server architecture for a graph analytic platform, and delivering new features for the user interface. Before joining Northrop Grumman, Norman worked at 21CT, Inc. as a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development of the Torch graph analytic platform and the LYNXeon 2 product. Overall, Norman has a strong track record in software engineering and has contributed to the development of various innovative software solutions throughout their career.

Norman Friis completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin from 2001 to 2005.
