Melissa Ganchev

Melissa Ganchev has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Melissa currently holds the position of Vice President, People Strategy at ORCOSA Inc, where they are responsible for creating and leading all people strategy functions. Their role includes talent management, talent acquisition, and people operations for the emerging biotechnology company. Melissa is also tasked with developing core values statements and integrating them into hiring strategies and business decision making. Melissa also held the role of Regional Senior Manager, Talent Management - Northeast, where they directed Talent Management functions and programs for North America Supply Chain locations.

At Strategic Financial Solutions NY, Melissa served as the Director of HR Business Partners, providing HR direction and business partnership to a financial services company. Melissa managed and developed a team of HR professionals and implemented process and system improvements.

Melissa also gained experience at Ingredion as a Human Resources Manager, supporting HR initiatives for the Global Innovations Group and various North America corporate employees. At MTF Biologics, they served as an HR Business Partner, providing daily HR management to a population of around 225 employees. At Catalent Pharma Solutions, they worked as a Senior HR Specialist and Interim HR Site Manager, providing HR support across multiple sites and managing various HR functions.

Melissa Ganchev obtained a Master's Certificate in Human Resources from Villanova University in 2012. Prior to that, they attended McDaniel College from 1999 to 2003 where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science & Chemistry. Melissa completed their high school education at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School from 1995 to 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Melissa has acquired several certifications. In January 2021, they completed a course on "Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself" through LinkedIn. In 2012, they obtained certifications in "Mastering Organizational Development," "Essentials of Project Management," "Human Resources Management," and a Master's Certificate of Human Resources, all from Villanova University.
