Glenn Veil

Glenn Veil is the Vice President of Engineering at Order. Glenn has over 20 years of experience in the software industry. Glenn has held various positions at companies such as Wisetail, where they were the Vice President of Engineering, Multi-Unit Business. At Wisetail, they built the engineering department from a small group of software developers. Glenn also led the implementation of a cross-functional team structure that aligned all departments around meeting business objectives. This resulted in clear priorities, informed decision-making, and improved communication.

Under Glenn's leadership, the quality assurance team improved the company's defect removal efficiency from 64% to 82%. Glenn also guided and supported a Technical Support team that achieved a customer satisfaction rating between 80-90%. In addition, they reorganized and completed the stalled migration of 250+ clients from a legacy platform to a new SaaS platform, migrating 90% of the clients in the first 6 months.

Glenn is a highly skilled and experienced software engineer who has demonstrated their ability to lead and manage teams of engineers to deliver results that meet or exceed expectations. Glenn is a strategic thinker who can see the big picture and develop plans to achieve objectives. Glenn is also an excellent communicator who can effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Glenn Veil received their B.S. from the University of Puget Sound and their M.S. in Information Systems from Baylor University - Hankamer School of Business.
