Delon Saks

Delon Saks has worked in the field of data science since 2020, when they began working as a Data Scientist for Cognite AS. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Scientist for Mobify in 2019 and as an Engineer for Tachyus in 2018. Delon also worked as a Reservoir Engineer for Baker Hughes, a GE company, from 2012 to 2018. Currently, they are employed as a Data Scientist at Ordergroove.

Delon Saks has an extensive educational background. Delon completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Energy and Environment Specialization from the University of Calgary between 2007 and 2012. In 2008, they attended the Technological Educational Institute of Crete for Advanced Numerical Methods. In 2010, they attended Shantou University for Engineering, Entrepreneurship and Renewable Energy. In 2019, they completed a Masters of Information and Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Delon has also completed Level 1 and Level 2 from the CFA Institute. Delon has several certifications, including Scientific Computing II and Machine Learning and Statistical Analysis from WorldQuant University, Machine Learning by Stanford University on Coursera from Coursera, and Professional Engineer from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
