Dogu Taskiran

Dogu Taskiran has extensive work experience in the technology sector. From 2020 to present, they have served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer of OIX, a revolutionary social commerce platform and NFT marketplace for the age of Metaverse. From 2016 to 2019, they were the Co-Founder and CEO/CTO of Stambol, a creative technology studio specializing in hyper-realistic immersive experiences and interactive applications through Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. In 2019, they were an Industry Advisor & Mentor for the VR/AR program at Vancouver Film School. From 2014 to 2012, they were the Co-Founder and Chief Technologist of Locopass, an end-to-end location-based content creation and delivery platform for small and medium scale businesses. From 2012 to 2009, they were a Senior Software Development Engineer at Microsoft and an Expert Software Engineer and Lead Programmer at Ubisoft. From 2006 to 2004, they were a Software Engineer and Lead Gameplay/AI Programmer at Electronic Arts and a Software Engineer at AYESAS. Finally, from 2004 to 2001, they were a Software Engineer at Meteksan Sistem, Inc.

Dogu Taskiran received their BSc in Computer Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University between 1998 and 2002. Dogu then continued their education at Bilkent University, where they earned their MSc in Computer Engineering between 2003 and 2007.
