Tom Corcoran

Tom Corcoran possesses extensive experience in surveying, remote sensing, and geographic information systems (GIS), currently serving at Ordnance Survey Ireland since September 2021. Prior roles include freelance data and GIS analyst at Innisfree Location Services, and officer at the Department of Housing, where responsibilities involved processing local authority claims. Tom previously worked as a GIS analyst at Compass Informatics, an environmental scientist at RSK Raw, a GIS technician at the National Transport Authority, an environmental technician at Galway County Council, and an environmental laboratory technician at SGS. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in GIS from Ulster University and two Bachelor's degrees in Environmental Science and Environmental Protection from Ulster University and the Institute of Technology, Sligo, respectively.
