David Qian has extensive work experience in the field of cancer research. David started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins University in 2002, where they worked until 2007. During this time, they gained valuable experience in the field. In 2007, they joined the Knight Cancer Institute at Oregon Health & Science University as a Principal Investigator. In this role, they lead a research lab focused on investigating therapy response and resistance mechanisms in human cancers. In addition to this role, they also serve as an Associate Professor & Graduate Faculty at Oregon Health & Science University. David Qian's work experience demonstrates their expertise and dedication to cancer research.
David Qian earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Alma College, from 1990 to 1994. David then pursued further education at The Johns Hopkins University, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cancer Biology, Molecular Epidemiology, and Toxicology from 1996 to 2002.
