Joshua Romero

Joshua Romero, MA, APR, APIO, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications and employee engagement. Currently serving as Senior Program Manager for Employee Experience and Engagement at the City of Bend since April 2016, Joshua has also held key positions such as Assistant Communications Director and Community Relations Manager within the same organization. Previous roles include Internal Communications & Culture Manager at NuVasive, Senior Public Information Representative Supervisor at UC San Diego Health, and Marketing & Communications Coordinator at California Western School of Law. Joshua began a career in media relations as Media Relations Manager at Alternative Strategies and has a strong foundation in academia as a Graduate Teaching Associate at The Ohio State University. Joshua holds a Master of Arts in Communication from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communication from Point Loma Nazarene University.
