Kathryn Chern

Kathryn Chern has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Kathryn began their career as a Production Assistant at Sagmeister & Walsh in December 2016, where they worked until February 2017. Kathryn then joined dailymotion as a Product Designer from February 2017 to April 2019. Kathryn worked as a Product Designer at AlphaSights from January 2020 to September 2021. In 2019, they took on the role of Designer and Art Director for Freelance, where they worked until November 2021. Currently, Kathryn is employed as a Product Designer at O'Reilly Media from November 2021 to the present.

Kathryn Chern attended Parsons School of Design - The New School, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Communication Design and Technology (minor). Kathryn then went on to enroll at Brooklyn Law School to obtain their JD degree. Additionally, Kathryn Chern holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Smith College, specializing in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation.

In terms of certifications, they have completed various courses from The Trade Desk, including Trading Academy Certified - Specialist, Trading Academy Certified - Strategist, Trading Academy Certified - Practitioner, and Trading Academy Certified - Professional. Kathryn also holds certifications in Adult CPR/AED, Designated Server from the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF), and is licensed as an Attorney in the State of New York by the New York State Bar. Furthermore, they have completed a specialized program in Fashion Law (IP) from Fordham Law School.
