Steven Feuerstein

Steven Feuerstein has a diverse work experience in the field of Oracle technologies. Steven started their career as a Pre-Sales and Developer at Oracle in 1987 and worked there for five years. Steven then joined SSC as an Oracle Group Manager and later became an Oracle consultant and led a team of consultants. In 1992, they started their own company, Feuerstein and Associates, where they served as the owner until 2014. During this time, they also worked as an author for O'Reilly Media, writing multiple books on Oracle technologies. In 2001, they became a PL/SQL Evangelist at Dell Software (formerly Quest Software) and continued to promote and educate developers about the language until 2014. Steven also worked as an Advisor at Starbelly from 1999 to 2000. In 2010, they founded the PL/SQL Challenge, a website offering quizzes on Oracle technology. Currently, they are a Senior Advisor at Insum, a position they have held since 2021. Additionally, they had roles at Oracle as a Team Lead, Oracle Developer Advocates, and Architect. In 2011, they also worked as a Tree Rescuer at Rewild Earth.

Steven Feuerstein attended the University of Rochester from 1976 to 1980, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics.
