George Dedes

George Dedes has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. George currently serves as an Engineering Manager at Orfium since June 2022. Previously, they worked at Steelmet SA of the Viohalco Group, where they held the position of Software Development Manager from June 2020 to July 2022 and Tech Lead from November 2018 to June 2020. Prior to that, George worked at VithoulkasCompass.com as a Tech Leader from September 2015 to October 2018 and as a Senior Software Engineer from January 2011 to September 2015. George also worked as a Software Engineer at Out There Media from August 2008 to January 2011 and as an Applications Developer at WIN Plc from January 2007 to July 2008.

George Dedes completed their MSc in IT and Data Communications from Lancaster University from 2005 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained their BEng in Computer Science and Electronic Engineering from the University of Liverpool from 2002 to 2005. Additionally, they hold the certification of Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) which was obtained from Scrum.org in February 2022.
