Konstantinos Siaterlis

Konstantinos Siaterlis has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Konstantinos is currently employed at Orfium as the Director of Big Data since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Data Engineering at Orfium from July 2020 to January 2022. Konstantinos was also a Lead Data Engineer at Orfium from January 2019 to July 2020, and a Data Scientist from January 2018 to January 2020.

Before joining Orfium, Konstantinos worked as a Data Scientist at Infilab from August 2017 to January 2018. Konstantinos also served in the Greek Army from November 2016 to July 2017.

In terms of their academic background, Konstantinos worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Patras from September 2015 to November 2016. During this time, they contributed to the field by creating a new personalization method for websites using social networks, devising a new method for finding patterns in time series in linear time, and creating a scheduler for a micro-kernel environment that could predict needed processes.

Prior to their research assistant role, Konstantinos was self-employed as a Website Back-end Developer. From October 2011 to September 2015, they developed several websites using PHP and JavaScript for back-end development, JavaScript for animation designing, and MySQL for database infrastructure. Konstantinos also designed and implemented their own framework with essential functions, following the three-layer architecture design.

Konstantinos Siaterlis completed their education at the University of Patras, where they earned an Engineer's Degree in Computer and Software Engineering. Konstantinos attended the university from 2007 to 2015. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science at the same university from 2015 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Siaterlis obtained various certifications. These include a Technical Product Management certification from LinkedIn, achieved in May 2022; an Astronomer Certification for Apache Airflow Fundamentals, obtained in March 2021 from Astronomer; and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2021.
