Stefania Patsou

Stefania Patsou has a solid background in backend software engineering, with experience working in different companies.

Stefania is currently working at Orfium as a Senior Backend Software Engineer. In this role, they are responsible for implementing a significant part of Orfium's product related to royalties. Stefania uses Python and the Django framework for coding purposes, while also setting up virtualenvs and using poetry for dependency management.

Before joining Orfium, Stefania worked at Vodafone as a Backend Engineer. Stefania contributed to a large-scale project where they collaborated with team members from various backgrounds and skills. Stefania mentored newcomers and had a good understanding of Agile practices, particularly Scrum. Their coding was primarily done in Java using Oracle's ATG Commerce, as well as Quarkus microservices.

Prior to their time at Vodafone, Stefania started their career at Cognity as a Junior Backend Engineer. Cognity was an external partner and contractor of Vodafone Greece. During their time there, they gained experience in Java coding using Oracle's ATG Commerce, and also developed an understanding of Vodafone's products, CRM, and Siebel systems.

Overall, Stefania Patsou has demonstrated their ability to work in cross-functional teams, contribute to large-scale projects, and adapt to different programming languages and frameworks.

Stefania Patsou obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, which they attended from 2014 to 2019. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Data Science & Information Technologies at the same institution, beginning in 2019 and expected to graduate in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Stefania has acquired several certifications. These include completing the "Docker and Kubernetes: The Complete Guide" course from Udemy in March 2022, the "Learn Apache Kafka for Beginners" course from LinkedIn in March 2022, the "Artificial Intelligence Nanodegree" program from Udacity in April 2020, the "Android Developer Nanodegree" program from Udacity in August 2018, and the "Android Basics Nanodegree by Google" program from Udacity in June 2017.
