Hugh Wax

Hugh Wax has over 25 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Hugh is currently the Vice President of Technology at Organogenesis since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Consultant at Hawkins Point Partners from January 2020 to December 2021.

Hugh also has extensive experience at Sanofi Genzyme, where they held multiple roles. From July 2016 to December 2019, they served as the Director of Industrial Solutions & Programs Infrastructure, leading a team in France and the US. From August 2009 to June 2016, they were the Associate Director of IA/IS ITEC NA Enterprise Operations Systems, managing resources, ensuring compliance, and establishing agreements with stakeholders. Before that, from August 2005 to August 2009, Hugh was a Principal Project Manager, responsible for designing and developing various IT systems for healthcare applications.

Earlier in their career, Hugh worked as a Senior Applications System Specialist/Administrator at Lifespan Hospitals from September 2002 to August 2005, where they gained expertise in system administration. Hugh also had a role as a Project Engineer/Manager at Senior Operations, Metal Bellows from 1994 to 2002.

Hugh Wax received their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Management Information Systems, General from Brandeis University from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems from Fitchburg State University from 1985 to 1987. Additionally, during the same period, they earned an associate degree in Welding Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology. In terms of certifications, Hugh obtained the IT Management and Leadership Executive (ITMLE) certification from the IT Management and Leadership Institute in June 2016, and the IT Management and Leadership Professional (ITMLP) certification from the same institution in February 2016.
