Philip Ozuah, MD, PhD, is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Montefiore Medicine, the umbrella organization for the Montefiore Health System and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Previously, he served as Montefiore Health System’s President (2018-2019), and Executive Vice President and Chief Operation Officer (2012-2018). Prior to this, Dr. Ozuah was Chairman and Professor of the Department of Pediatrics and the Department of Epidemiology, Population Health at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Ozuah received his medical degree in his native country of Nigeria, his PhD from the University of Nebraska, and his MS in Education from the University of Southern California.
