Livia Ulicna is a Senior Scientist in Translational Medicine at ORIC Pharmaceuticals Inc. since July 2022, where responsibilities include driving biomarker strategy for clinical development and managing collaborations for biomarker assays. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Scientist role at Stanford University School of Medicine, focusing on the discovery of novel functions of SWI/SNF complexes and establishing predictive biomarkers in breast cancer. Livia earned a PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology from Charles University, following a Master's degree in Molecular Biology and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Comenius University in Bratislava. Earlier research experience also includes significant contributions to the characterization of proteins and cellular processes at the Institute of Molecular Genetics and the Institute of Molecular Biology.
