Saibal Sengupta

Saibal Sengupta has a diverse work experience in finance and management. Saibal is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Orient Electric since April 2018. Prior to this role, they held the same position at Usha International from August 2016 to March 2018. Saibal also has experience in leadership roles at Dabur India Limited, where they served as Vice President Finance from July 2014 to July 2016 and as Sr. General Manager / General Manager - Finance from August 2008 to July 2014. Saibal has also served as CFO at Noble Group from April 2007 to May 2008, and as Financial Controller at Carrier Airconditioning & Refrigeration from April 2005 to March 2007. Saibal has also worked in various finance roles at GSK Consumer Healthcare India, Apollo Tyres Ltd., Jenson & Nicholson (I) Ltd, and General Electric Company.

Saibal Sengupta completed their high school education at Don Bosco School in Kolkata from 1971 to 1982, where they received their ISC/ICSE degree. Saibal then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Accounting & Commerce at St. Xavier's College in Kolkata from 1982 to 1985. After that, they attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 1985 to 1988, where they obtained a degree in Chartered Accountancy specializing in Accounting & Financial Management (CA).
