Nahla Salama has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Nahla most recently served as the Human Resources Director at Oriental Weavers since 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Human Resources & Administration Director at Asec for manufacturing & industrial projects (ARESCO) from 2008 to 2016. Nahla also worked as an HR Instructor at The American University in Cairo from 2012 to 2015. In addition, they have experience as a Human Resources Manager at Challenger Limited - Petroleum Drilling Co. (2004-2007) and as a Compensation Benefits Coordinator, Administrative Assistant to the HR Director, and General Manager's Office Administrator and Personnel Assistant at PepsiCo (1999-2004). Earlier in their career, they worked as an Administrative Coordinator at Challenger Limited - Petroleum Drilling Co. (1997-1999), as well as a Secretary for the Contracts and Procurement at PGESCo (1996-1997) and as a Sales & Contract Department Head Secretary at Egyptian Drilling Company - EDC (1990-1993).
Nahla Salama obtained their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from Cairo University in 1996. Nahla has also pursued additional certifications throughout their career, including becoming a Professional Behaviors and Driving Forces Analyst from TTI Success Insights in 2021, a Certified KPI professional from The KPI Institute in 2020, an Integral coaching certification from LCE - Leadership Coaching Excellence in 2016, a Professional Certified Trainer certificate from AUC - School of Continuing Education in 2011, and a Quality Management Expert Certificate from TUV Academy in 2000.
