Syndi Stark has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Syndi began their career at JCPenney in 1997, where they held various roles, including Senior Communications Manager, Senior Buyer, and Division Vice-President. At JCPenney, they gained experience in merchandise planning, allocation, marketing, and supply chain management. Syndi then joined Lands' End in 2012, where they served as VP, GMM for the Children's department before being promoted to oversee Children's, Family Footwear, and Accessories for Women's, Men's, and Children's. In 2015, they joined Oriental Trading Company as Vice President, Merchandising, responsible for the strategic development and execution of merchandising initiatives. Throughout their career, Syndi has successfully implemented growth plans, managed teams, and delivered sales growth in various product categories.

Syndi Stark attended the University of Houston from 1990 to 1993, where they pursued a Masters Level education in Business Administration. Prior to that, they were enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin from 1980 to 1984. During their time at UT Austin, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Plan II - Interdisciplinary Honors Program in Liberal Arts.
